In April 1999 the municipality Weitra and Unserfrau-Altweitra established the Wastewater association Lainsitz Mitte.

The existing WWTP in Weitra was abandoned and the wastewater was pumped via the transmission pipeline to the new WWTP.

Solution

A full biological SBR type WWTP (5.800 P.E.) was designed and consists of following:

  • Intake pumping station
  • Mechanical pre-treatment
  • 3 SBR tanks
  • Equalising tank
  • Volume measurement
  • Operation building
  • Sludge storage

The measurement, control and regulation technology (SPS control) comprises all relevant components which are necessary for proper automated operation.
